The aim of each piece of college literature is to be informative and purposeful for students, but delivered in a more engaging way using a bright and colourful visual language. The style follows WHCG's brand guidelines but uses the secondary colour scheme rather than their brand colours which are saved for corporate literature.
Some pieces of literature have their own sub-brand depending on the department they are used for. For example, the Higher Education courses have a separate colour palette to the Adults Part-time courses, so they are distinguishable for visitors at Open Days. And the Student Support and Additional Learning Support literature have a similar look to show that they are the Support Services that students can access.
School Leavers Enrolment Joining Pack Literature
The enrolment joining packs are sent out to every student who has applied and has a conditional offer of a place to study at the College.
They are made up of a colourful envelope to attract people's attention, a booklet which explains the enrolment process and a handful of leaflets with further important information to get students ready for the start of term. These are sent before GCSE Results Day so it's important that they are eye-catching and get students excited for starting College.
