In my Final Year I entered into the 2020 D&AD New Blood Awards. The brief, set by Google x HMCT, was to use typography, specifically Google Fonts, to represent a cause through the use of a song, musical genre or movement.
I chose to focus on Women Empowerment and Gender Inequality and used classic comic-book inspired typefaces to represent women as superheroes. I paired my campaign with International Women's Day and found incredible facts to support the lyrics taken from girl power anthems.
